about
Audience: Young Teen Girls (Young Women) in Middle-School, High-School, and Undergraduate College, and Parents

Today's young women are faced with daily social pressures to perform and appease. Although social tides are changing and improving, cultural habits still impress upon young women to over-perform, under-receive, and remain gracious, accepting, and silent. These are topics that must be addressed if we hope to improve the lives of young women in the future.
Young Women Leading is taking this challenge to Empower Future Women Leaders. Through the Young Women's Leadership and Empowerment Conference we hope to Start the Conversation to move us in the right direction, as we empower young women to take control of their lives and their future!

Over this one-day conference, teen girls and parents will be exposed to top female business leaders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, authors, and therapists, telling their personal stories of adversity and triumph as well as teaching tools to reach for leadership roles, manage social pressures, and rise above adversity. Students and parents will also participate in therapist-led break-out sessions to start the conversation as well as gain first-hand experience in practicing these tools in managing social pressures and saying yes to their dreams. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that will truly make a dramatic impact on young women to empower them to be successful future leaders!
